The steady growth of the business has increased the range of new items we can offer customers, which now includes lime splits. To meet market demand, the Concato brothers decided to set up Jera Srl in 2007.

As pre-tanned hides require specific care and attention, the new company Jera has invested in modern production facilities and technologies to pre-sort the hides and allow the business to expand further. Jera Srl is now considered a landmark operator in its sector.

Jera Srl supplies Concato Gilberto Srl with crust hides which then undergo wet-blue or wet-white tanning before selection and processing.

Jera also sells lime split trimmings used in edible gelatins, technical gelatins and glues.
